In collaboration with Plymouth University, two Master's students from Fontys have worked on challenges in the supply chain to become more resilient for their graduation project. These projects are part of the supply chain resilience project of BISCI.

🔍 Ivavian Kartolo conducted an in-depth bottleneck analysis at BLMC, which resulted in strengthening the framework for supply chain resilience. The streamlined framework prioritizes risk assessment based on key supply chain attributes and now also integrates insights from lean management and emergency/disaster plans. BLMC frequently applies this framework in its consulting practice.

🔍 Ying-Hsuan (Ruby) Wang bridged the gap at Moonen Packaging between Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) with sustainable and efficient strategies.

If your company also deals with shortages (material, or labor), fluctuations in demand and price, or other challenges or disruptions, we can formulate a project with a master student to investigate this and work on improvement proposals.

If you want to know more about these projects and how such insights can help your company deal with shortages and fluctuations in demand and price, I invite you to visit the upcoming SC Challenges Event on Wednesday, December 13.
